Midway World War II naval battle in the Pacific, June 3-6, 1942
"Midway" is an out-of-print Avalon Hill board game that simulates the World War II battle of Midway, June 3-6, 1942 -- the turning point in the Pacific.
The original, classic, "beer & pretzels" version of the game was released in 1964. (The 1992 Smithsonian "version" was a completely different game of the same name.) The game is easy to learn, but has a fair amount of depth, and is a decent recreation of the battle.
I am thinking about creating a browser-enabled game of it using PHP ...
